Stigma''s

Stigmas are a way in which we justify putting others in a category of weird, dangerous, unstable, or abnormal. Im going to start naming mental illness as a neurological disease, because thats precisely the correct diagnosis. Even if the source of the disease started with broken or dysfunctonal relationships, it eminates and presents itself from the brain which may also be influnced by the endocrine system. The treatments vary from counseling to medication or a combination of both, but we must change the publics perception and understanding, by relabeling from the abstract diagnosis of mental illness to the more concrete and humane diagnosis of neurological disease.
